  • Our Victorian Tea at the McAllister House was so much fun! It was fun to use the china and the tea set. Really gives you a thrill to think they took the same sort of teas there in that house over 100 years ago! Thanks for a great time!

    McAllister Foundation

    The McAllister Foundation was incorporated in 1991 as a separate 501(c)3 charitable organization to establish and administer an endowment fund for the exclusive use and benefit of the McAllister House Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Foundation is governed by a seven member board. Current members of the Board are:

    Chair: Barbara Harrison
    Secretary: Nancy May
    Treasurer: Barbara Rasmussen
    Other Board members: Rebecca Bromley, Carol Harper, Dorothy Kraemer, Sally Christiansen, and Terry Thatcher

    The fund is managed by the Colorado Springs Investment management firm Ramsay, Stattman, Vela & Price, Investment Advisors

    The Foundation annually distributes 4% of the fund’s average total assets to the Museum to support operating expenses.  The distribution is currently approximately 25% of total operating expenses.
