Foundation

The McAllister Foundation was formed in the early 1990s  to raise and administer an endowment fund for the benefit of McAllister House Museum. The funding of the Foundation is through gifts, bequests, and pledges from any individual, group, or body interested in sustaining the welfare of the Museum.

All donations are managed by a local financial advisory firm and overseen by a seven- member foundation board.

From time to time the Foundation engages in fundraising efforts.  One such project was the creation of a Limited Edition Colorado Springs Heritage Collector’s Place depicting 16 historical sites of the City.  These high-quality plates make lovely gifts for friends and family. A few of these plates are still available at $40 each.
