  • Our Victorian Tea at the McAllister House was so much fun! It was fun to use the china and the tea set. Really gives you a thrill to think they took the same sort of teas there in that house over 100 years ago! Thanks for a great time!

    We’re getting a new roof!

    July 21st, 2009

The work on the new roof for the Museum continues today.  On Mon., July 13,  members of the El Paso County Roofing Contractors Association began the process of replacing the 1962 roof on the house.  The Association is donating the workers, supplies, and equipment for this project.

The Museum Committee gathered in the Carriage House and provided lunch for workers on the first two days.  Rains come early each afternoon, so the work will continue on Mondays and Tuesdays until the roof is completed. ubuntu ftp server
